Valley of Fire

The loading screen for the Dreamcast version.

The Valley of Fire is the first area of the Mountain Kingdom from both Gauntlet: Legends and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. Despite having different iterations throughout the different versions of Gauntlet: Legends and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy, it has, for the most part, maintained the same with a very linear and short level design.

Appearances[]

Gauntlet: Legends[]

The Valley of Fire is the first area that the heroes travel through, and as it is very short, it acts as a bit of a tutorial for players.

Arcade[]

Unlike other versions of this area, the arcades' versions hold no significant items. It is necessary only to access the next area.
